CRAFT DAY!

Today the kids got to make cool sand art crosses. They really enjoyed this craft and the finished product looks great for everybody:)

You'll see lots of piks from craft-making and a few from "snack shack" time below.

Some of your kids don't like having their picture taken..........so don't be alarmed if you don't see them here in the craft shots! That just means they were ducking every time I came near them with the camera today.................. LOL!

Wednesday ALREADY!!!!

WOW! The week always flies when you're having fun! I can't believe it is Wednesday already.

Yesterday was a packed day and everyone seems to be doing great!

Highlights of Tuesday included.........a crazy game of water dodgeball (a camp union favorite) that lasted at least an hour, decorating string packs that the kids get to keep, late night game show night (where teams got to play "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy") and S'mores around the campfire last night! It was a full day and most of the cabins did not get to sleep till past midnight.
They gave them an extra half hour of shut-eye this morning to compensate a bit.

Today everyone is excited about who will be awarded the cleanest cabin for today. (Yesterday it was Alpha Boys). They are all fervently cleaning their cabins right now!!!
Everyone is also looking forward to the talent show tonight. Many of our kids will be participating as entrants.....but everyone enjoys being a spectator!

On a spiritual note..........our kids are also working hard at memorizing scripture this week. They've studied the story of Noah & Esther and today are talking about the 12 disciples. The theme of the week is "how beautiful are the feet of them that bring good news". They are encouraging the kids to become a person with beautiful feet:)
